By accessing and using the Website and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

Accounts and Membership

To access certain features of the Website and Services, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated at all times. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

top.ug reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if any information provided is found to be inaccurate, false, or in violation of this Agreement.

Payments and Mobile Money

top.ug facilitates payments exclusively through Mobile Money services available in Uganda, including but not limited to MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money.

By using our payment services, you agree to the following:

You authorise top.ug to collect your phone number and payment information solely for the purpose of processing transactions on the platform.
Your payment details are used only to initiate and confirm Mobile Money transactions and are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that your Mobile Money account has sufficient funds before initiating any transaction.
top.ug is not responsible for failed transactions caused by network issues, incorrect phone numbers, or insufficient funds on your part.
All transaction disputes should be reported to us promptly at the contact details provided below.

Links to Other Resources

The Website and Services may contain links to third-party websites or resources. top.ug does not imply any approval, association, sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with any linked resource unless specifically stated. We are not responsible for the content, products, or services offered by third parties. Your access to any linked resource is entirely at your own risk.

Prohibited Uses

In addition to other terms set forth in this Agreement, you are prohibited from using the Website and Services to:

Engage in any unlawful purpose or activity;
Violate any Ugandan law, regulation, or ordinance, including the Computer Misuse Act, the Electronic Transactions Act, or any other applicable legislation;
Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of top.ug or any third party;
Harass, abuse, harm, defame, intimidate, or discriminate against any person on any basis;
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including false payment details;
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code;
Engage in spam, phishing, scraping, or any other form of unsolicited communication;
Interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Website and Services;
Use the platform for any obscene or immoral purpose.

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Website and Services for violating any of the above prohibited uses.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos on the Website and Services are the property of top.ug or its licensors. This Agreement does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you. All rights, titles, and interests in and to such property remain solely with top.ug.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any intellectual property belonging to top.ug without express prior written consent.

Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

The parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably through good-faith negotiation before commencing formal legal proceedings.

Changes and Amendments

top.ug reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time at its sole discretion. When changes are made, we will update the date at the bottom of this page and post a notification on the Website. We may also notify you through other means, such as via the contact information you have provided.

Your continued use of the Website and Services after the effective date of any revised Agreement constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing and using the Website and Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorised to access or use the Website and Services.
